On May 28, Atena Farghadani, a 29 year old Iranian artist and activist, was sentenced to 14 years in prison by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic. Her crimes? Drawing political cartoons that criticized the supporters of anti-woman legislation, and subsequently using YouTube to expose the abuses and poor conditions that she faced in prison after her initial arrest.

The bill that prompted Farghadani’s activism is aimed at criminalizing and discouraging the use of contraception and the practice of voluntary sterilization. It is part of a bid by the Iranian supreme leader to boost the birth rate in the country – a project that has been characterized as creating “soldiers for Islam.”

Every day I am following nuclear news in Iran. If you are following too, understand that the situation of Iran is very bad and he looking for solution until finish this position.
My advice is these deals haven’t result and must be finished, because Iran wants to spend these times until the building nuclear weapon is finished. At really he misuse nuclear negotiation.
Even Senator Lieberman and Senator Bayh said, “we see ‘disaster’ in looming Iran deal” and Huckabee said: “negotiating with Iran like Saying ’Death to Sanity’”
When I read these advices, I believe the deal with Iran is ineffective.
I don’t know do you hear the Iranian resistance have great gathering at Paris on 13th of Jun? One of the subjects is speech there about nuclear in Iran and Iranian wishes .Iranian people don’t want nuclear Iran .they want free Iran without mullah’s regime, they want settled and beautiful Iran.
I am sure with Iranian resistance we will have this country. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi is leader of them, she says “we can and we must” so I want to go their gathering and shout loudly “we want a non-nuclear Iran”, I will be sound of Iranian in Iran.
I believe, we will see free Iran and have celebration for freedom.

nuclear deal: Killing spree continues

A few days ago the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), reportedly said that a seven-person team of the North Korean Defense Ministry was in Iran in the last week of April in what was the third visit by North Korean officials in 2015, while a nine-person delegation from Pyongyang is expected to visit the country again in June, NCRI said, citing sources inside Iran.
“The delegates included nuclearexperts, nuclear warhead experts and experts in various elements of ballistic missiles including guidance systems,” NCRI reportedly said, adding that the North Korean officials were taken secretly to the Imam Khomenei complex, a military site controlled by Iran’s defense ministry.
According to NCRI, the North Korean delegation met with officials at the Centre for Research and Design of New Aerospace Technology, a unit of nuclear weapons research and planning center, called the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), which is under U.S. sanctions, Reuters reported.
This is while The ruling theocracy in Iran executed 93 individuals in one week this past month, and no one cried out. According to opposition sources, between April 12 and April 18, Iran executed 65 individuals, many in secret.
On April 29, Maryam Rajavi , NCRI’s President-elect testified before House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Terrorism, non-Proliferation, and Trade and asked Congress to address Tehran’s nuclear threat and human rights abuses equally. “Acquiring a nuclear arsenal, abusing human rights, and exporting fundamentalism and terrorism are indispensable features of the ruling theocracy,” Mrs. Rajavi said, adding, “Upholding human rights in Iran and forcing the regime to withdraw from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Afghanistan offer a real yardstick to ascertain whether or not the regime has abandoned its nuclear weapons program. Anything short, however camouflaged or presented, amounts to self-delusion and acquiesces to the catastrophe of a nuclear-armed theocracy.”

U.S. to probe allegations that Iran, North Korea are linked in nuclear and missile research

Washington Times - May 29, 2015 - U.S. officials said they were seriously examining an Iranian dissident group’s claims on Thursday that Iran and North Korea are forging ballistic missile and nuclear research ties.
“We have seen these claims, and we take any such reports seriously,” said State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke.
He added that U.S. officials have not yet been able to verify the claims made by members of the dissident National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ).
The dissident group, which has offices in Paris and Washington, claims to have evidence proving that a delegation of North Korean nuclear and missile experts visited a military site near Tehran in April amid the ongoing nuclear negotiations between Iran, the U.S. and other world powers.
The dissident group has a history of exposing major clandestine nuclear operations in Iran. It has long claimed credit for tipping off Western powers to the existence of the Islamic Republic’s uranium enrichment plant at Natanz and its heavy-water plutonium facility at Arakin 2002 — two facilities that Western officials have deemed to be violations of U.N. nuclear regulations.
Such allegations are at the center of nuclear talks between Iranian officials and representatives from the U.S., Britain, Russia, China, France and Germany. Iran and the so-called “P5+1” group are presently scrambling to meet a self-imposed June 30 deadline to reach a comprehensive deal that would restrict Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for a lifting of international sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
A core issue involves the question of how the U.S. and its allies can implement reliable monitoring and verification measures to ensure Iran is not clandestinely pursuing nuclear weapons.
Citing information from sources inside Iran, including within Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, the NCRIclaimed Thursday that a seven-person North Korean Defense Ministry team visited Iran during the last week of April.
The group said the visit was the third made by the North Koreans during 2015 and a nine-person delegation was due to return to Tehran in June.
“The delegates included nuclear experts, nuclear warhead experts and experts in various elements of ballistic missiles including guidance systems,” the NCRIsaid.
In Washington, Mr. Rathke declined to comment on whether U.S. officials intend to raise the NCRI’s allegations during nuclear talks with Iran.
